2. Pricing and Goods

Fair Trade: We make every effort to describe and display our fairly traded items as accurately as possible. However, as many items are handmade or uniquely sourced, slight variations in color, size, and finish may occur.
VAT: We are not registered for VAT. The price displayed on the website is the total price you will pay for the goods, excluding delivery charges.
Delivery Charges: Delivery costs will be clearly displayed at checkout before you finalize your order.

3. The Contract Between Us

When you place an order, you will receive an acknowledgement email. This email is an acknowledgement of your request and does not constitute acceptance of your order.
A legally binding contract is only formed when we dispatch your goods and send you a shipping confirmation email.
We reserve the right to decline any order (for example, if an item is out of stock or if there is a pricing error).

4. Delivery

We only deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom.
Goods will be delivered to the address you specify during checkout.
We aim to dispatch goods within 3 working days. By law, if we cannot deliver your items within 30 days of your order, we will notify you and offer a full refund.

5. Right to Cancel & Returns ("Cooling-Off" Period)
Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the right to cancel your purchase and get a refund within 14 days of receiving your items, without giving a reason.

How to Cancel: To exercise your right to cancel, you must notify us in writing by emailing thebethlehemshop@gmail.com within the 14-day window.
Returning the Goods: You must return the items to us at 7 Ffordd Penchwintan, Bangor LL57 2UY without undue delay, and no later than 14 days from the day you told us you wished to cancel.
Return Shipping Costs: You (the customer) must pay the cost of returning the items to us. We strongly recommend using a tracked shipping service.
Condition of Goods: Items must be returned in their original condition. We reserve the right to make a deduction from your refund if the value of the goods has been reduced by unnecessary handling.
Refunds: We will refund the full amount paid (including our standard delivery charge) within 14 days of receiving the returned goods back, or receiving proof that you have sent them.

6. Faulty or Damaged Goods
Under the Consumer Rights Act, if an item arrives damaged, faulty, or not as described, you have a right to a full refund, repair, or replacement. Please contact us immediately at thebethlehemshop@gmail.com with details and photographic evidence of the fault so we can arrange a return at our expense.

7. Limitation of Liability
We do not accept liability for any indirect, special, or consequential losses, or any loss of profit, data, or revenue arising out of your use of our website or products. Nothing in these terms excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

8. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be decided only by the courts of that jurisdiction.
